Created for Dr. Becky Black, using her fantastic research.

Personally this animation is one of my proudest, and the visuals were some of the most pleasing to create.

This animation was made with the help of children with epilepsy, using their experiences and words to help explain what the condition is and what it means to be diagnosed. It explains the diagnosis process, the variety of seizures, and talks about types of medication. Most importantly, it reminds children – they are not alone.

The film was developed from the themes and findings of the ‘Me and My Epilepsy’ PhD study by Becky Black from The Muir Maxwell Epilepsy Centre (MMEC) at the University of Edinburgh, with the help of Jacob Capener.
